Our Services
We have taken a step back and developed our services in order to stop the NHS grinding to a halt. We provide a full solution to enable delayed discharges to be eradicated. Our solution is one that has two aspects. Not only does it facilitate hospital discharges, it provides the transport to ensure that after patients have been discharged from the bed, they aren’t left in a discharge lounge for hours on end.

Community Bed Network
We will provide over time a community bed network of 17,000 beds across the UK. These beds will be in either:
- Care Quality Commission registered Residential Homes
- Care Quality Commission registered Nursing Homes
- Fully safeguarded Private Houses
The beds will be available for short-term periods of up to 6 months. This then gives the funding authority or local council a period of time to source longer-term provision if required.
Foster Beds
Foster beds are our longer-term solution for periods of 6 – 18 months.
Everyone knows the concept of fostering children, i.e. children are placed with foster parents on a temporary basis until a permanent solution is found. We continue this concept by placing adults in foster beds in fully safeguarded private houses. Beds in the community are sourced with local people providing beds in their own homes.
Bariatric Beds
There is a growing demand in the United Kingdom for beds for bariatric patients otherwise known as morbidly obese patients.
Hospitals are struggling with this provision as the demand for these beds increases. We have access to 500 beds across the United Kingdom and in addition to sourcing the beds, we also provide specialist bariatric transport services.
Due to their size, bariatric patients require both specialist beds and adapted specialist vehicles.
We can provide the specialist equipment that is required to deliver this service as part of our routine services enabling a more flexible solution to those currently provided.
Transport Services – Non Emergency
Often the discharge of a patient from hospital can involve a long wait in a discharge lounge waiting for the booked transport to arrive.
Our operating model includes an integrated transport solution, where fully trained drivers who have had safeguarding checks including enhanced criminal disclosures, provide a timely transport service to enhance the patient transfer experience to their new provision.
Whilst we don’t provide care, by providing beds in a community setting an in- reach service from both health and social care professionals can be maintained.
